Tiger Wrap with slightly different sized threads?

I'm going to do a tiger wrap on my current build. The base of the tiger wrap will be black/white (both sz. A), while the top will be black/red classic twist, which works out to be closer to a sz. B thread. Will there be a problem getting the usual tiger wrap effect, since the base threads are slightly smaller in diameter than the top thread?

Thanks

No, but as soon as you put the top thread on and remove the spacing thread you'll know for sure.

I think you have a unique combination of colors. I haven't tried a classic twist on one but I think I would like it. Post a photo of it when you get finished. There isn't enough difference in the dia of the threads to be very noticeable. With the twist in the thread and the tiger effect it's going to warp your minds eye anyway. As Tom says, you will know for sure when you pull out the sacrificial thread.

I did one with black/green classic twist and it looked great. I think the effect was more intense than with regular thread

Be sure the bottom wraps are side by side but loose enough to move them around for the moire affect.
