This could be old news to you guys, but I didn't see anything recent using the search tool and it was news to me. (I'm always the last to know)

I am not a wholesaler, but was curious about the following I saw on a website: "Due to G-Loomis' abandonment of their rod blank program, XXX XXXX can no longer continue to offer our existing stock of G-Loomis blanks at wholesale prices. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you."

Does this mean G-Loomis is finished making blanks with the G-Loomis name and are focusing on production rods only, or will they continue to manufacture blanks for the little (non-wholesale) guy?

Haven't done a lot of research, but certain some of you guys would have the low down.

Brandon

G. Loomis, Inc. has already ceased supplying rod blanks to the custom builder, at any price point.

G*Loomis is exiting the blank business. At Mudhole Custom Tackle we just received a rather large shipment of blanks from them. We have a decent inventory of most of the more popular G*Loomis models in stock. Just remember, when they are gone, they are gone.
