Looking to try a new kind of wrap and these have grabbed my attention. What is the best book available that explains the process or is there any how to's posted anywhere online with details of process?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm sure the Clemens book on custom rod thread art will have complete details on Tartan wraps.

Not sure about Billy Vivona's book, but that one may have instructions as well.

In a nutshell, tartans are done by taking advantage of the translucient effect regular nylon has
when epoxy is applied and no CP is used. NCP thread is used where the "see through" effect
is not wanted.

Yes, it is fully explained the the books by Clemens.
