epoxy finish layers

Hi,

I'm building a rod for myself and I put 2 very thin coats of flexcoat ultra V (high build) over the st-croix decal.
I'd like to put a third thin coat over it but it was almost a month ago since the second coat...
I previously never waited more then 24 hours between coats...

In other words...can you put another coat of epoxy over one that is allready fully hardened?
I'm a bit afraid it will crack after some time...

thank you in advance!

greetz,

Jeroen

Scuff the area to knock off the shine and add another coat without worry!

Right, clean the area with water or alcohol and then use Scotchbrite to scuff and degloss the previous coat and then apply the new epoxy (don't wipe with a solvent after you scuff the area, just dust it off).
