Gooey LS

Using U40's LS supreme (not hi-build). It was kinda cool today so I zapped both bottles in the microwave for about 15 secs. Mixed it up and applied it to the wraps. After 4 hours, I notice that it's not as hard as it should be, just gooey. Went back and read the instructions cause I thought I remembered something about not heating the hardener component. Sure enough, I wasn't supposed to heat the hardener. Gettin old and my memory is slipping. Two questions:

Is my hardener trashed forever or, can I wait till it cools down and use it again, without heating, of course? Should I purchase a new kit?

Can I save my wraps? Will it eventually harden enough for me to put on a second coat? I was gonna need it anyway.

Nukeing it won't help with cure time. That's only to make it easier to mix if it's cold/thick (10 sec) It should be fine with time. 4 hours and it should be gooey. Your hardner will probably be fine. Give it until tomorrow

It will take more than 4 hours to set to a firm touch. A full day to lose any tackiness and another couple days before it's ready for use.

Do not play with any finish. !!! Unless you are mixing in Alaska, -- Just mix -- apply -- let sit. slow turn. ------ You are good. THE SLOWER IT TAKES TO DRY, THE BETTER IT LEVELS, AND THE NICER IT IS !!!!
