To make my decals I use, with very good success, Laser or Inkjet water slide decal paper bought from MerrickTackle (I don't know the manufacturer's name, I asked to MerrickTackle but without success). In my last decals I tryed to use another kind of Laser and Inkjet water slide paper from Papilio manufacturer. The results was very poor, the paper and its support is very heavy thickness (my Xerox laser printer had some transport problems) and very rough (my DELL inkjet printer had some problems to have acceptable results in photo quality setting). When I used this decals I wet it for 15 sec and then 45 sec rest (outside the water) but was very difficult to manage it for its hardness, heavy thickness and rough. Does anybody help me to teach how can I use this Papilio paper to have best results ?
Thanks in advance Marco Re: Waterslide decal paper comparison

You're going to have to contact Papillo, although it doesn't sound like that paper is pliable enough for what you're trying to do.
Decal Connection used to sell do-it-yourself water slide paper. They understand this business and I'd give them a call or shoot them an email. .................. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
