Hello All,
I am wanting to know what guides you people are using for everyday repairs, I need a (value priced) aluminum oxide guide and tip top supplier. I used to use the ones that Sevier Manufacturing sold but from what I hear they are either going or gone out of this part of the business. They sold a great product for the price. I want to state that this is for everyday repairs, nothing fancy just put a guide on and let them go fishing again. My business relies on this end of the trade more and more as people have less and less money to buy custom rods, atleast in South Central PA. thanks for all your ideas. I use Fuji guides/top ... new builds, repairs, etc. My theory is that I don't want to put anything on a rod that I don't want to fish with myself. Re: Wholesale guides

I stock mainly fuji hardloy and alconite, and batson H ring for repairs. It seems that the vast majority of rods that come in my shop have those on them....I try to match the guide brand as close as possible. Scott Sheets www.smsrods.com Re: Wholesale guides

In addition to Fuji, I stock Berkley SS304 guides. They are the guides used on virtually all Berkley, Abu Garcia and Fenwick factory rods, and I see quite a few of those. They are inexpensive enough to keep a few of each size on hand. Janns Netcraft has them. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
