morton guid placement chart

I have a morton guid placement chart i just picked up and want to use it to place the guids on an 8 foot spinning rod could anyone help me with the set up of the rod and chart and what are your opinions of the chart should i just stick to tradisional set ups i am just a novice builder at best but love to try new things thanks in advace

after taking some time thismorning i figured out a way to hang and use the graph without pegboard and found it very easy to use it takes the guess work out of the initial placement and the blank tells you were to place the guids after tapeing the guids fast and doing a static test and some test casts i had to do just some minnor adjustments i think this could become a useful tool for me

On very long rods you may find it helpful to place the blank flat on the floor and do everything on that plane instead of a wall where you have limited height.
