I was just going through all of the common cents information to refresh my memory on it. I have been using the system to calculate the ERN and AA of all of my rods for quite some time but had not really played with the CCF(Common Cents Frequency) piece of the system. Now when I looked at the commonly asked questions that are posted in the Common CEnts Info link to the left, there are a few answers that reference TP and RP. I don't recall these from the articles I read. Can someone fill me in on what TP and RP are refering to?
Thanks Paul Re: Common Cents Question

Tip Power and Reserve Power - they're from the Universal Rod Rating System and simply offer additional information on specific areas of the rod blank, if you want to get that involved.

Sorry, but someone has got something wrong.
RP (Reserve Power) is a term originated by Sage, and they can have it, for whatever it means. The correct CCS term is PR (Power Reservoir) and is a measure of the relative power of the butt of a rod measured while the rod is deflected a distance equal to one half of its length. TP (Tip Power) is a relative measure of the strength of the rod tip when measured in accordance with the BIG Picture. Its value equals the minimum value of that curve.
