Blank Suggestions

A friend wants a 7' Heavy fast action casting rod for worm and jig fishing up in lake winni, and in maine. Can't be too expensive, any suggestions?

John without knowing the specifics of what he wants it is a little hard to recommend but on a general check out Swampland, Batson and Croix, have heard good things about Phoenix as well and cannont comment from first hand experience..... LOTS of options in there for these type of blanks.

I'd check out the St.Croix SCIII line of rods, they are economical and very nice blanks.
