packing trouble! help

hi guys, im having a @#$%& of alot of trouble packing a wrap im using Gudebrod 9003 metallic pearl.
it just wont pack nicely anybody got any tips, more-less tension?
i pack it nice and tight and it seems to spring back out and if i do get it nice it pulls out further up or down the pattern

If the spacing is elongated, metallic can be tough to work with. Less tension will generally work better than more. If you can incorporate some regular nylon into the pattern in places, it will tend to help hold the metallic in place.

Tom's right. Try to use some contrast color in regular thread to hold things together. It's a good way to add some definitive borders to your pattern by using black or dark blue with the pearl color.

thanks for the help guys i backed off the tension a fair bit and put a few runs of white nylon in and it worked well, and you can hardly notice it.
Yeah Paul im in Mackay queensland. But i dont use that email address.
