Does anyone have a chart or list of guide heights for Fuiji guides? I've scoured the web and can't seem to find one. I'm particulary interested in the spinning guide heights such as the YOG's or or BYLG's. Trying to figure out which guides I will need when seting up the NGC system.

Looks like a rough estimate would be that I need a guide about 55mm tall.

I think I will measure and record and start to make a chart as my builds continue.

Any help at all would be great.

I use a digital caliper in a way that determines the exact centerline height of the ceramic ring as referenced to the bottom of the each guidefoot.

With an Excel spread sheet and just three measurements per guide, my method permits recording an accurate centerline for each guide-type which I will use. For example, all guides in the Fuji BYAG, BLAG, & BMNAG categories which I frequently use ; I have recorded these as well as a few more exotic ones.

Per guide model, heres how; measurement 'a' is the overall thickness of the top of the guide, measurement 'b' is the ID of the ceramic ring, and finally, measurement 'c' is the overall height of the guide. The centerline height is: 'c' minus 'a' and then minus '1/2 of b'.

With Excel, that calculation is quick, clean and self-documenting.

BTW, FUJI quotes the measurement that I call 'c' in their guide specs.

I do have an adjunct spreadsheet which graphically plots guide layout which I find it helpful in picking out alignment discrepancies before I would actually build-in (eg. my goal is to see that I actually have a straightline linepath through the centerlines of my guides).

So, if your PC has Excel you're 'in business'.

I am a bit tied-up now; however 'YES' I 'll share what I have.These include: a # of Excel v. 2007 spreadsheets on NGC.

For example: Parts List, Handle-reelseat-WC design, Spinning Reel specs, Guides layout, Guide-ring centerline specs.

These are not universal; I use a lot of Shimano, Fuji and dominantly NGC/spin.

I am not too quick on the draw right now.
