I have a customer that wants black/purple eva foam evenly pieced together.one black,one purple,etc.
I have used eva before but not pcs. glued together. What is the best way to get even cuts? Is rod bond ok to use to glue the pcs. together?I have heard to cut eva, put on a lathe and use a pc. of fishing to cut it. Any help/ideas is appreciated. Thanks....Jerry Renagade Rods Re: cutting eva foam/gluing pcs.eva

Spin the EVA on the lathe and use taut rod winding thread to slice it. Cuts like butter.
Weldwood contact cement is the ticket for glue up. RodMaker Volume 7 #3 would have any particulars you might be interested in for EVA work. But it's really quite simple. .............. Re: cutting eva foam/gluing pcs.eva

Just trim ring inlays. The upcoming issue will have Bernie Cohen's article on pattern inlays.
