G[loomis IMX should be crisper, about 20% more power, and faster than the St Croix.

I like the St. Croix 3S70ULF and the Batson IP 840. I have built both for myself and like them both. The SC maybe slightly lighter.

Anyone looking to make the best ultralight rods should check out RodMaker Volume 10 Issue 1. It's all in there.

The one's I use for my UL builds are the 3S66ULF2 or the 3S66ULF. Both are great UL rods with very nice sensitivity, light weight and a fast tip.
