Hi,
I have little problem and I hope you could help me with this one. I am looking for UL spinning rod 6'6" - 7' long with great sensitivity, light and fast action. Any recommendations.....? Thank you Jerry Re: UL spinning blank

g-loomis S781-IMX really light, nice n crsip and at 2-6lb it should be exactly what your after

G[loomis IMX should be crisper, about 20% more power, and faster than the St Croix.

I like the St. Croix 3S70ULF and the Batson IP 840. I have built both for myself and like them both. The SC maybe slightly lighter.

The one's I use for my UL builds are the 3S66ULF2 or the 3S66ULF. Both are great UL rods with very nice sensitivity, light weight and a fast tip. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/05/2009 01:14PM by Mark Pearson. Re: UL spinning blank

I used a Rainshadow IP840 in shore popper. works great for me. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
