Expo vendors and products

Obviously, the manufacturer and vendor exhibits at the Expo are what draw the majority of the people who attend. And this year, more than any of the previous years, we will have a greater number and variety of exhibitors. Not only that, but those I have spoken with that have let me in on their plans are telling me that they are bringing more product than ever before and that most of it will seel for less than ever before. I don't think that a rod builder could possibly see this much stuff, or have a dollar go farther, than at this year's Expo. I often have first time attendees tell me that they're overwhelmed when they walk into the exhibit hall for the first time. Well, this year, I think many of the folks that have been coming for several years are going to be just as overwhelmed as the first timers.

Considering the state of the economy and everything else going on, I have been very pleased to see the 2009 International Custom Rod Building Exposition shape up as our largest and best to date. This will be a very impressive event, again. Nothing like it anywhere else in the world.

Maybe. The UPS Store folks did okay last year, but there were not used in the capacity that I (we) had hoped. Considering how many folks had asked for this type service, I thought it would see more use. As such, they haven't made up their minds yet as to whether or not to attend.

Tom, I sure hope that UPS does attend and offer shipping services! I am attending for the first time and anticipate buying quite a bit if and would need it shipped as cannot carry back on plane to California.

I'm working on it but can't promise anything. Obviously, if you're going to be in town on Monday you have your choice of FedX, UPS, the USPS or any of the various mailing services around town.
