Tom,
In your drum wrapper:

What was the particular motor that you used to power the dryer?

Thanks much
Roger

I sold it to Sammy Mickel a while back so he'd have to look it up - I'll try to remember to ask him to look up the make and model number for you. I do recall that it was a very heavy duty, commercial grade continuous duty motor with fan. It runs for hours on end, even under heavy load.

I geared the motor down to give me about 10 RPM on the drum. I believe the motor itself turned about about 30 RPM.

Tom,
Thanks for the update.
The speed and general type was the information that I was looking for.
Thanks again.
Roger
