I am fitting this cane blank with a nickel silver reelseat, Mildrum ns stripping guide and Mildrum ns tip top. But - I think crome snake guides are too bright to match the ns parts. Is there any snakes that will look good with ns parts. thanks Peter Re: Snakes to fit NS stripper

Snake Brand snake guides in bronze are very attractive. The finish of Titanium Nitride snakes reminds me of gunmetal, which may or may not look good to you with nickel silver components. In my mind, they would look good with the mildrum stripper and top. Clyde Suggestion on snake material

Peter, You might consider the TiCh (titanium carbide plated) snake guides now available. They are a nice titanium sheen, a nice match with nickel silver. These are a step up from the hardened chrome fly guides. Rich Richard's Rod & Reel Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
