Hi
In the UK we get a 3 piece Loomis GLX distance rod. I am interested in getting a blank for the 10 ft 7 wt ( i believe the rod number is GLX-D-FR1207-3), but the Loomis numbering system confuses me. Do they sell the blank, and if so which one is it? Many thanks Mark Re: Loomis Blanks - confused

GLX is the series.
D is the nomeclature for "Distance." FR stands for "Fly Rod." 120 is the length in inches. 7 is the suggested line weight. 3 stands for the number of pieces. If they sell the blank I think it would listed something like D-FR1207-3. Might be best to just contact G. Loomis or one of their distributors and ask. ............ Re: Loomis Blanks - confused

F 1207-3 (GLX) is how it would be listed in the US. It by the way isn't in our catalog. Few GLX rods are. No 10 ft rods at all are listed. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
