Hi Bill,

Did you notice that the pot life is longer? I did!

I was leaveing the bearing in the cup while I applied my finish pehaps it has to do with that helping to keep it cooler for longer pot life or could be a more thorough mixxing? I also believe there is less chance of the finish not cureing correctly do to poor or lazy hand mixing procedures using this machine also. Anyway i love mine!

I made one from the plans in Rodmaker about five years ago. I know some do not like the idea of the mechanical epoxy mixer, but mine has worked perfectly for me every time. No more bubbles! Well, at least none in my mix, I still end up creating some when I apply it but the mix is perfectly clear even from those tiny little micro bubbles I used to get in my hand mixed batches.

I love mine. I haven't noticed a pot life difference yet - I'll have to check on that. What I did notice is that it frees up 4 or 5 minutes to do something else every time I mix a batch of finish!
