I was one of the lucky ones that got a sample of the new TM Color Preserver.
However, since it is only a sample, there are no instructions... In Andy's original post announcing the product, he indicated that it has an extremely fast dry time, and I have observed this to be true since I applied it ~1 hour ago and it LOOKS dry. My question, for those of you that have used it, is what is the recoat time, and how long to wait before applying TM finish? I'm itching to get some finish on the latest rod! Thanks, Walt Re: Threadmaster Color Preserver

Well, at least my impatience worked out this time. I waited for a while for a response, but just went ahead and re-coated it since it felt completely cured. Thanks, Scott, for giving me the RIGHT answer! LOL.

What is Andy's recomended drying time? I have dried Flex Coat with a hair drier while it is rotating and applied finishing afer 3 hours when I was in a hurry. I normally allow CP to dry over night. Re: Threadmaster Color Preserver

I was also one of Andy's testers and Scott's info is spot-on.
BTW, do NOT use heat on TM CP - in fact, on any TM product. Uncle Russ Calico Creek Rods Re: Threadmaster Color Preserver

Hi Russ, I have spoken to Andy directly and he stated that "Threadmaster loves heat", when referring to the thread finish epoxy. I use heat on regular and lite build with excellent results.
