Started playing with this stuff, and it's super easy to use once you get the hang of it. One thing I have come up with is an easy way of dampening the inside of reel seats to install bushings and the inside of cork grips for installation.
Use a gun cleaning rod and bore mop style end soaked in water, and squeeze some out if necessary. With rifle sizes from 0.220" to 0.500", and then shotgun sizes from there up you can cover every size possible, and the stuff is cheap. You can easily wet the inside of a 10" cork rear grip really quick and well. Bill was right on - when you use this stuff wet the inside of the piece to be bonded (grips or seats), and apply glue to the outside (blank or arbors). No mixing of 2 parts, and once you get the hang of how much to apply, almost no foaming out. I like this stuff better than epoxy! Marc Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
