Happy Independance Day Gents,
I need to replace a blank that I broke today. It was a factory Falcon Gunsmoke, it was a 6MF. Yes, it was of my stupidity that I broke it!! The line specs were something like 8-14 lb but I dont have it here at work with me so I am no exactly sure. I believe it was rated at 1/4-5/8 oz too. Do any of you know what blank these were made on and if there are still available? If not what might you suggest I replace it with. I am wanting Light, straight, and sensitive. I have a few in mind but would like to here what those in the know think. I am going to be building in the split grip, simple spiral, no foregrip, shaved seat style.

thanks,
Tom Kaufmann

I believe they were made on Shakari blanks, but those particular models are no longer made. The ATC models are not the same product, although I'm sure they have something close if Falcon still offers that model.

You could likely match up something from any number of the sponsors here. Do your best or call one of the sponsors and see if they can help you match it.

Thanks for the info Tom. Would you by chance know if these were made on the earlier shxi blanks or shx? I think that I may have found a suitable replacement from lamiglass.

Thanks,
Tom

I don't, sorry. I'm sure they were proprietary models and not from the regular blank line which is offered to custom builders.
