I've been racking my brain to try and figure out what colors look good with Green but I keep coming up with yellow but I don't want a Green Bay Packers rod. Anyone use any colors other than yellow and gold with Green? I have no sense of what colors look good with what.

I don't even know what that color is? isn't that kind of purple?

Try; Gold , Red, Yellow, lighter shades of Green. Darker shades of Green, Fuschia, White, just to suggest a few.

Try gudebrod Rust and, goldenrod.

I like gold and other greens.

Fuschia is the same color as the shoes I was wearing in High Point, lol!! 0411 is the Gudebrod color, it's HOT Pink. FWIW, Purple also looks good with Green.

Try a metallic silver base wrap with teal nylon top wrap and no CP.

I didn't realize there were so many different color combos for green.

Tommy, what does the metallic silver do to the teal? Does it give it a kind of metalic look when the finish goes on?

My favorite is a dark green with calcutta gold (I beleive it is 9009 Gudebrod). It is almost a white gold.

The nylon with no CP over a metallic base wrap gives the teal a candy apple effect.

Another great combo I have used is an metallic aquamarine base wrap and nylon teal with no CP as a top wrap.

Tom, that sounds really cool. I'm going to have to try and find a blank to play around with different color combos.

What shade of green? Years ago I sold Oriental carpets. Without question, the most difficult color for home decorators to properly match/contrast is green. There are just too many shades with varying degrees of either yellow or blue mixed. Having said that, I had a Hunter Green blank for which I used a very deep wine red thread and it matched very well.

I like dark greens and/or dark browns. Burgundies also go well, as do pale gold colors (i.e. Gudebrod 340).

My favorite wrap is a darkk green/scarlet/dark green fade. Keep the scarlet band thin.
