Both my Winston and T&T rods included decals with the blank. So, I might just put one on my latest blank. I think it's a peel and stick type of decal. So, should I put it on the blank and then apply the finish over it or put the finish on the decal before I apply it to the blank? Re: Decals

I have my best luck with the peel-n-stick decals if I do one coat of epoxy, stick it on top of the epoxy, then another coat of epoxy over it. Trying to put finish on JUST a decal, then applying it to the blank, seems like it wouldn't work. You wouldn't end up with smooth finish. Re: Decals

As long as the blank is gloss finished, I put it directly on the blank. If matte finished, I apply a coat of finish. Either way, I apply CP over it before applying the finish. Re: Decals

The Winston is a waterslide. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
