Last night I found a BCBG846 in my garage. I thought sweet exactly what I'm looking for, but I was wrong. Does anybody know of a similiar fiberglass blank out there that has a smaller butt diameter than .810. Yet I need something that can toss DD22's with out too much loading of the rod. I looked at the specs and they are right in line with what I need. I have an MB841 from lamiglas. The specs are what I need also but when you put the two side by side. The lamiglas is quite a bit lower on power. The StCroix 1C70MM is similiar to the lami, but maybe just a little weaker in power. Thanks for your help, Bryan.
PS I'm a die hard for glass, so the graphite crankin' sticks out there are out of the question. Re: Big crankin stick

Seeker BS706S - perfect crankbait blank (S glass special order version, not E glass). It will fish the DD22s, but the tip will be significantly loaded. Take a couple inches off the tip to find the perfect action. Maybe extend the blank if you require something longer than 6'10". Re: Big crankin stick

If you need a little stiffer tip and more backbone might try the Lamiglas MB842, 3/4 to 2 1/4 oz rating - vs - the 841, 1/2 to 1 1/4 oz if I remember right. Angler's might have one on sale, I got a MB 841 for 20% off the other day, there may have been a few 842s in the rack also. Re: Big crankin stick

Spencer, Thanks. I am going to go with the MB842. It has the same butt dia as the 841 approx. It should work great. Thanks again, Bryan. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
