Signed blank / Fixatif ?

I went looking for Fixatif today, but was unable to find it. What I did find was an ultra clear acrylic finish. Does anybody know if this Acrylic finish will work in place of fixatif?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are talking about coating decals or a signature color preserver will work fine.

Like Bill said, CP works fine, unless you use a GEL PEN. The first time I used CP on a GEL PEN signature, I meared it all the way to Albany and back. Gel pen ink never dries. I used a clear acrylic enamal next time, worked like a charm. It was not "Fixatiff".

If you take a hair dryer and go over the gel pen several times to dry it, then you can put CP on it without it smearing.

It can also be labeled as Artists Spray Fix.

Fixitaf may be a product name for a particular brand.
