For those who cannot set up their own site, or have no idea of where to get started with their own website, I'd recommend Ian and Wendy at Pairowoodies.com. They have been offereing special "rod builder" website packages. You'd have to contact them for the details, but I think for about $300 you can get your own URL (website address), one year hosting, and a nice 3 page site. That's not much of an investment if you're in the business of selling rods.
I do many of my own sites, but Ian and Wendy have done probably half of them. The sites stay up and when there is a problem, which is relatively rare, they get things taken care of in a reasonable time. Ian has also built some rods - he understands the business. ....................... Re: Need some imput

Bill, one thing that comes to my mind it to make yourself seem like a person. Get some pictures of yourself with your work on your site. Let people know who you are, set yourself apart. Maybe a shot or two of your workshop and you busy at building a rod. If you are selling custom, not mass produced rods, you would want them to buy from a person not some impersonal manufacturer out there. Re: Need some imput

Not negitive at all. It makes good sense - that must be why your the king LOL Ricardo Had a link, no offence Tom, but I started to think that if I send people here, they would learn to build there own, not good for me. The host service I am using for my name and a 5 page site, only cost me about $100.00. Just getting the right wording. Getting a lot of good stuff from here, things I may not have seen. Thanks guys. Bill,
No offense taken. There is really no point in sending potential customers here - they're after a finished rod, not what this this site offers. .......... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
