Weight of Fuji TLSG in 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0?

Does anyone have a quick weight for the Fuji TLSG in 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0 sizes? These are the titanium fly SICs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these are the lightest SIC guides that Fuji makes in these sizes.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mo

ps: I find that I get better weight measurements on these very lightweight units if I first put a small coin or something on the scale, and then subtract out the guides. When it comes down to .05 gram range, my scale jumps a bit but adding a coin makes it very stable. If anyone has a better method, please do share it here. The best of course is to measure 10 identical guides and then divide by 10 to average them out but I don't normally have that many. :)

If guide weights are important to you, then you might want to invest in a scale used to weigh gunpowder in grains.

I asked and earlier poster about the scale he used to quote weights of components. He never answered. So off I went a looking.

Found some nice jewelery electronic scales on @#$%& that are resonably accurate. Bought one for less that $25. 500 gram capacity, self calibrating, warranted for life.

Greetings,

William, actually I do have one that measure in grains, grams (down to .01 grams) and ounces. I just don't have the guides so I do not know whether I want to purchase some or not. I have Titans and Recoils so I have those weighed. Thanks for the suggestion.

Lou, yes I got mine on @#$%&. I think shipped, I paid $18 for a 100 gram capacity. At first, I thought .01 grams was overkill but it turned out that I needed this 'resolution' as some of the recoils go down to .03 grams!

So....anyone have the weights of these Fujis?

Thanks in advance,
Mo

The lightest weight ceramic ring tip top or guige that Fuji makes is the GOLD CERMET RING WITH TITANIUM FRAME.
The fly rod tip top is "TILGT"
The fly rod guide is "TIGG"
I use them both.
I am also a reloader & have an electronic powder scale & have checked them all.

Bill, thanks for the thought. Yup, did a search. The Tlsg 5 and 5.5 may be so new that old posts do not list it.

Thanks,
Mo

Hi Mo and Gil:

Since you guys have a scales, would you post the weights of guides etc that you have weighed to this thread? I'd be very interested in weights - and possibly others too. ;)
