How's it gonna look?

I am currently wraping a dark blue Batson blank with royal blue thread and scarlet trim. I don't intend to use colour preserver. Can someone give me an idea of how the wraps are going to look after the epoxy goes on.

They will be nearly transparent with no real hue of the original colors.

Run a test. I wrap without CP and the thgreads darken and become translucent but they definitely retain colors.

Next time before you put the handle on any blank, do some test wraps on the butt section just to see what it will look like
If you have not done a butt wrap, you can do it there? Just be carefull when you take it off.
It can be repaired easy, with a base wrap if need be
