I watched Tom's demo in Charlotte on the flocking stuff and that was one classy looking grip he made. My question and it might have been answered there already, is what other colors are available and how well do the brighter colors up. If I use a yellow and it will surely get dirty will I be able to clean it or scrub it back to like new? Re: grip flocking colors

Armand,
Go to the Donjer products (sponsor) website and give Jill an email she was very helpful to me, there is a colour chart there as well. Re: grip flocking colors

I haven't kept up with what colors are available. I've used black, rust, tan, grey, red, green, maroon and blue with good results. Yellow is sure to get dirty, but if you've applied the flocking properly, it should be super durable and you should be able to wash the grip to rid it of any dirt, grime or fish funk. I have been flocking grips for many years and using this particular kit that I helped Donjer assemble for about a year now. The grips I've done with it still look new even after some hard use. We'll know more as we move into a second and third season of use.
One thing worth mentioning - it was brought up during my demo - if you want the flocking job to look its absolute best, remember that you must keep the mini-flocker aimed at exactly the same angle the entire time you're applying the flocking material. If you recall, I held it at 90 degrees to the grip surface the whole time I was applying the flock. Failure to do this means the flock will hit the adhesive at different angles and you wind up with something that looks like a carpet or rug that has had something dragged across it from different directions. ................
