SF guides with gold ring manufactures.

Going through various sponsor's websites and catalogs, it appears the only sf guides with gold rings and a chrome base ( plus matching strippers and tip tops) is American Tackle and PacBay at about the $4 per sf running guide, PacBay has gold rings with a titanium coated base that are closer to $5 a running guide and the Fuji offerings are about $12 a pop. Any other brands available with a CHROME BASE and GOLD rings? Thanks.

Forecast has gold rings with TiCH plated frames. Call Robert at FishSticks.

Those Fuji's are Gold Cermet guides. These are metal alloy rings and supposed to be the best available. The frames are also titanium...not coated. This is why they are so costly.

I meant Forecast with gold rings and a titanium coted base at $5, not PacBay.

I think the Forecast is about as inexpensive as you'll find. I've used them and they're well made and nicely finished. The plating is almost like chrome, matches nickel silver pretty well.
