Does anybody have the weight of the blanks in the Sig V and FT series of blanks? Re: Blank weight on Dan Craft blanks?

The Sig V are about as light a blank as you'll ever put your hands on. My 10 ft 7 wt FT is about the same weight of most quality blanks in it's length an weight class, without actually putting them on a scale to compare. Spencer Re: Blank weight on Dan Craft blanks?

The SIG V's are the lightest blanks I've seen for their line weight. The 10ft 7wt feels lighter than some of my 9ft 5wt blanks.
I have no idea what the actual numbers are in grams, but like Spencer says, the SIG V's are one of the lightest blanks you could choose today. Not sure about the FT's,but I think they are slightly heavier(probably similar to most other blanks out there),but with perhaps a bit more durability than the SIG V. Edited 1 time(s). For the record, the lightest blanks I've seen were/are the discontinued Scott STS Freshwater series. The 904-4 weighed in at 1.35oz; pretty absurdely light for a 4 piece with spigot ferrules.
The Gatti fly blanks are probably the lightest there are-- 1.05oz or thereabouts for one of their 9'0" 5wts. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
