Where can I find magnifying glasses (the ones you wear like real glasses). All I can find are reading glasses?

Shanon;
I use a Opti-visor that I purchased from Cabelas, works great( wearing it now!)
Front end tilts up when you are not using it. Very comfortable (not heavy)

Actually reading glasses are magnifying glasses. I prefer them over an Opti-visor or similar magnifier. I use 2.75x half glasses for both rod wrapping and fly tying, that way when you look away you can see.

Hey, Bob, those reading glasses don't help us eye ball challenged guys with glasses already, though LOL!!

hope I'm not wrong here. Reading glasses are not the same as magnifying glasses. One makes things clearer and the other makes them bigger

As long as the reading glasses say something like 2x, 2.5x, or 3x they are indeed magnifying glasses.

I just got my opti-visor from Cabelas & can't wait to try it. Got that idea from this forum. Thanks!

I wear glasses and found some great clip on reading/magnifiers in Michaels that I use a lot. I'm starting to the "look over the top of glasses" thing for close work.. these really help and they cost me I think less than 5 bucks.
