Polishing finished rods

Just a quick survey to find out what people use polish their finished rods before delivery.

Pledge or wax is what I use. Pledge is faster and easyer.

Wipe on furnitue wax like pledge, etc. I spray onto a cloth and wipe the blank, seat/guides with it and recommend that the users do the same periodically

Meguires Carnuba. It works on the truck and that's a lot tougher environment than fishin'!!.

I've read about polishing newly completed rods, but hesitated because I felt that having the blank and components waxed would complicate things if a near term repair is necessary.

Maquire's Carnuba; no silicone to cause problems on down the line if repairs/refinishing is needed. Wax as you would your Hummer, Myles!!! ;)
