Hey guys...Who carries diamond back blanks? How much are they usually? WHat do you think of the 13 ft float rod blank model? Thanks.
Sincerely,
Dan Colville

Try diamondbackflyrods.com, they have a dealer section there. Angler's Workshop used to be a dealer, but I don't remember them in this year's catalog.

Hi Dan,

I don't know of any sponsors carrying them anymore. You'll have to check with diamondback to get one.

I haven't held that float rod, but from what I've heard it is a bit heavy for great lakes steelhead. You'd get by much better with the Rainshadow, IMX, Talon ITM, or any number of others. The ITM is an awesome blank. I'm building one for a customer right now. It is 13' 4-10 lb and weighs 2.4 oz (I think). 3 pc blank. I can give you the contact info of the gentleman that has them if you email me for it.

Thanks,
Rick
