Attaching Reel Seats/Handles

Hi All,
I am about to attach my first reel seats/handles. I have been reading a number of posts on this board for background information. I sense a difference of opinion on how much epoxy to use. Some seem to indicate using only enough epoxy to make a solid joint between the Reel Seat and the arbors. Some seem to want to fill all of the gaps between the arbors completely with epoxy in order strenghen the assembly and prevent "squeking". Any thoughts would be appreciated before I start mixing.

Thanks Again.

P.S.
I have posted a number of questions the past few weeks. The responses have been quick and very useful. I am thankful for the help.

Pouring or dumping in epoxy does absolutely nothing but add a little extra weight. You don't need to do that and it will not add any strength. Strive for a close fitting assembly and rely upon a thin glue line (the strongest) to adhere your parts. Read the online library article on how to prepare your surfaces before assembly.
