"Weaving"

I am looking for Jack Justis weave pattern's. Does anybody know if he has a book on all of his weave pattern's? Or any info on his weave's? I know there are a few in Clemens but that is all I have found. How about you Tom, when are you going to publish a book on weave pattern's? I know you have some good stuff, I'll buy it..
Thanks,
Mike

At the risk of being a boor, let me tag onto your thread, Tom. I attempted my first weaving last night. Even though it is short, I am very satisfied with "ADAM S." Here is my question, as the texts on the subject are not clear: Is there any perceived problem with wrapping (at the butt end of the weave) a wide trim band (mine is about 1/4") to hold down the base ends of the design threads? With the butt of the rod to my left, I wrapped them down, wrapping from right to left. At the end of the weave, I put a similar trim wrap to balance it. The ends of the threads are hidden very nicely, but the book I have doesn't get specific about how this is done, even though there are a lot of words expended "dancing around" how to do it. It seems to me, little bit that I know about it, that this trim-band wrapping is fine. It seems very simple for all of the obvious discomfort expressed in the text. Anything I am not seeing here?
Kindest regards,
JC

What I do when a weave is completed and all weave threads have been pulled tight, is, after doing about 10 more turns, start cutting off the weave threads cutting every other thread at first, then doing enough turns to cover the cut threads, then cutting more weave threads, doing more turns to cover those cut edges, until all the weave threads are covered. I then put a trim band or two one each end to finish it off. I try to make the end wraps as short as possible.

Hi Mike,
Which pattern were you looking for. If I still have it, I will be more than happy to send it to you.

Best regards,
Jack Justis
