My Grand Daughter Gave me a couple of old Aluminum telescoping fishing rods for Christmas. The label reads; Gifford Brothers Distr, .800 North 3rd. St. ,Logansport, Ind. , "Quick Pick Pole" I ran it thru Google and came up without a hit. Does anybody here have any information about these?

Not sure of the model Number. Have had it about 22 years and have rebuilt it once. Use it for cutting ferules for rod repair and sanding drums for cork work.

Does the motor for the dryer run both forward and backward? If so, make sure it is running in the direction that would tighten the chuck.

Looking for blank to build. Fish in Michigan rivers in the fall for Salmon. Wade and fish from banks. Throwing spoons, plugs and sometimes spawn. Fish range from 10 to 30 lbs. What are you using or recommend?
