Does Madeira have that silicone lubricant? and to get around a dark blank showing through on light colored wraps, have you tried an underwrap with this stuff. Like I said I am new, so I don't know if it would work, but in theory it would make sense. Thanks for the help Mike. James

Scotty, try out acidwrap.com they have tools you can print out to help you aline the spiral eyes and all sorts of good info on the practice. Hope it helps. James

Jeff, Flex Coat offers a finish specifically for adding glitter to the finish over the wrap, give that a try. Good luck, oh ya and I have never used it before. James

I have ordered one spool for practicing my wraps since I am a newby, but since I have never wrapped an entire rod start to finish or anywhere close to that, I have no idea if it holds strength, color, if it gets fuzzy when it is being covered in the finish. I just recently found batsonenterprises and wow, they seem to have some of the best materials I have found thus far. Bill, you asked why they didn't make them weight adjustable, although I don't know about that, I do know that Jann'sNetcraft.com has a fuji weight adjustable butt cap that is adjustable up to 3 oz. for balance.
