I just can't imagine that someone's baking skills are so bad that they decided to "boil their bread"! That's just to funny! Whats the name of your business/both? Guy's I'm just joking, it food is actually OK!!!

I recently ran into a someone with short limbs, admiring my rods he was very impressed with the split grips. He acknowledged problems with conventional equipment...and mentioned how comfortable the split inside his arm pit and the butt behind his shoulder blade, it provided a firmer grasp. Both of his limbs are less than 12". ~Mark

It would be nice to hear a detailed explanation from Bill Batson! Especially the difference in quality control. P.S. I know some of you will say e-mail him directly...blah, blah, blah, and I have no doubt he would respond. But on this forum many would benefit hearing this response.

Thanks Steve, If that is the case I would like to know how/where he got this cork? Whatever, it is very nice and I'd like to try this type on a rod in the future. Ray, will you be at the Rod expo in High Point in February? I am hoping to meet you there, and I'd hope you'd consider doing a seminar on your style and techniques. That is if you have any desire to share that information.

Ray, I was under the impression "this is your engraving", is it not? Or, am I speaking to the wrong Ray Cover? This picture is on the website for a "Ray Cover, Jr". Tell me what I'm missing? Or, is it to much caffeine this morning, well don't answer that one! I'm assuming whoever did the engraving would know about this cork, and thus for the prior referenced que

Doc, Scott, Scott, Ray, and Jim: Thank you for all your help. This is exactly the kind of information I was looking for! Ray, for a "newbie" you zeroed in on the information. For the short term I will use a jig, but "given all things unequal", lol, it appears I will probably buy the WW and Doc's DVD. I simply like things to work smooth and the WW seems to facilitate the

New to the forum board as well as rod building. Thanks to all of you "unknowns" whom I've benefited reading your comments and suggestions. I really appreciate that, as well as this Forum, thank you Tom. Weaving Loom: I'm concerned about the functionality of the overall physical size as well as the loom thread "number" size, (i.e. 25, 40, 60, 100 thread...). I do not
