The worst repair I had to do was when the owner rewrapped three guides with sewing thread and coated with super glue, alot of thread and alot of super glue!!! I never realized until that day how hard super glue got and how gast it dulls razor blades. It took me forever to get those guides off!!! Noel

Tom, I never was implying it was something you could do on your end. Its obvious the link is there because everyone else but Bruce and I are posting pictures. I was just looking for some help in finding out what might be the cause and try to fix it. Noel

I guess I didnt make myself real clear. When you click on a photo from the "home " page it does give you the "click here to enlarge photo" option, but when you go to "see all of users gallery" all the pics are small and doesnt have an option of letting you enlarge. Thanks, Noel

Where are you finding the "enlarge photo" button? I looked at a few peoples pics and most were way too small to see anything, but couldnt find how to enlarge. Thanks, Noel

Jeff, You could marbelize some flames or find a flame pattern on the web and send it to Jimi at Decal Connection and have him make you some decals. I had him make me some flame decals before and they turned out great. Hope this helps, Noel

Tom, I bought a Pac Bay Rodsmith last year and love it. There is a learning curve to these things if you've wrapped by hand for any length of time , but I got it figured out pretty quick. When I was using my hand wrapper I found that I could have used another arm most of the time and the Rodsmith has eliminated this. Most say that you really only need a power wrapper if your doing long underw

Thanks guys, This seat was done in Walnut, just something we had laying around here. We are probably going to try in some sort of stabilized wood soon. I am really excited about this, and I was also amazed that we could actually do it after all the trial and error.........lots of error. lol. But I think we got it down now. Thanks again, Noel

Hey guys, Doug, No I havent be whittlin' if I did it you probably couldnt tell what it was supposed to be. hahaha!! I plan on getting a skeleton seat and using the front hood with the threads and attaching it to the seat where it necks down, just like the old Pac Bay wood seats did. Gerry, it was made on a lathe by a buddy of mine who is an ace on this lathe. He could probably do brain sur

Bruce, I second getting some decals from Jimi @ Decal Connection. As far as how you apply the decal.... You put down one coat of finish. When thats dry you cut out your decal and soak in warm water for a few seconds, then you slide it onto your rod and there you have it. Make sure its where you want it and let it sit for 24 hours to dry. Then you put on another coat of finish on top. Very e

Gary, Sure you can do that. I know a couple of people that do it and never had any problems. I personally use the whole arbor under my seats but no reason not to do it your way. If weight is your concern I dont think there is any noticable difference in using the whole arbor as opposed to the 1" sections. I glue the arbor to the seat with 5 min. epoxy and let it dry, then ream out the a
