Using the NGC system on a build and took the diameter of the spool x 27. I placed the choke guide and reduced the reduction guides which look well spaced. The issues is the 1st reduction guide seems like it is a bit too far from the spool,
Does this mean i need to use a larger guide?
Is there wiggle room on where I can move the choke?
Any suggestions on what i should do to remedy?

Thanks. Was just looking at that. Is it only for fly rods? Is there anything like that for regular fishing rods?

I want to get a better understanding of CCS and any other relevant rating systems for blanks.
Are there any videos or articles available to learn?

Doing my 2nd build currently. The guides on my 1st build feel like they skip from the line not evenly going around they guides and not hitting the top on the 1st guide. Trying to avoid this issue on my current build. Is there a good place I can get a better understanding of what I did wrong?
Outside of scanning through old conversations on this blog where can I find videos or information on ho

Great thank you. And as far as the IS601L its rated 1/16-1/4 oz. Would that be able to handle 3/8 oz? I assume those numbers are just a sweet spo

My buddy is looking for a light tackle bass set up. Uses 10 lb and 1/8-3/8 oz. Thinking this is the rod I would like to use.
Thoughts on the blank for this? Assuming it should have enough back bone?
Doing Rangers Theme like that it comes in blue. (And the price)

Was told I can make my own decals with a laser printer and the correct paper. Curious if anyone does this and the pros and cons.

I actually checked some of these places. They had custom rods on display but no blanks or the builder present.
Going to mudhole and AT was much more beneficial in my option.
Juno Bait and Tackle is great tho. I must say
