Sorry to ask another stupid question. mmm thats what I thought tom very clever. just got to work the spacing out and give it a blast did wonder if it was as x wrap on the angles but that seemed too simple cheers for that

firstly Any ideas how the single silver is held in place? glue each seperatly wrap over the ends or are they all wrapped as part of the wrap????? They are paret of the accent range introduced in 2006. They ARE special order only (if that is so then you should be able to get any size. search for painting aluminium You need to etch prime it first (an acid primer {nasty}) then paint brushing doesn`t come out out very well

Even better of you dip your wet and dry in denatured alcohol too it doesnt raise the grain and cleans as well giving a very silky finish

I would on a heavy salt rod (well I do on all salt rods personall choice) but freshwater keep it as light and as simple as possible On the other extreme would you completly wrap a 5wt fly rod in E thread with underwraps then two thick coats of highbuild?? Match to the blank A thread is plenty strong enough but some people like C or D

KKKK thats a monitor printer calibration error The colour you see on the screen is not what is printing 1) what software are you printing through??? 2) goto control panel in windows and you will see the adobe gamma thing Give it a shot (try holding up a piece oof white paper next to your monitor then print a red box out hold that up (see a difference ? ) I can profile the paper for y

TAPE Seriouly thats what our tournament casters do they just TAPE (yup sticy tape like insulation tape) A SET OF GUIDES ON THEN BUNG THE LEAD 300 YARDS Personally sod that i lost way too many tip tops test casting in the back yard but the lawnmower always seems to find them for me PS if anyone wants a load of mangled tips let me know they cast round corners great as for the thr

Finished putting epoxy on rod last night. Has any one got any ideas on how to shrink an EVA grip back to its original ID. I put one on a blank for "safe keeping" about two years ago, it was a fairly tight fit so i pushed it right on hard.. Now i want it but the ID has expanded to fit the blank i put it on "about a 1/16" bigger" than the blank i want it for. dont want to buy another one if I can "shrink it&q

I personally like to try and "mimic" the bend of the rod with the line I still use the static guide placement as the ONLY way to place guides I`m sure tom and others will confirm that no two blanks are exactly the same. in my opinion therefore No set guide placement can cover the them therfore every blank will have a sutble difference in placement it may only be 1mm here 1mm there
