Hello,
Any body have experience using craft hot glue for rod tips?
Im trying to find the difference, because I know my wife will freak if I spend any more money on this new hobby. I have thread, guides and epoxy on the way, could I just use the glue from a hot glue gun to put the tip on, then wrap and epoxy it?

Looks like I need to catch one on @#$%& next time it is up for offer. Ill hit the local goodwill style fishy stores around me and maybe Ill find something.
I have no idea how I would build with this rod's handle. Been trying to find a good guide for building a pistol grip handle and there isn't much.
I need to find better resources...

Are we talking about the handle or the rods themselves?
Do you know any brands or names of the "reel handle", or even a name of one of the rods?

I appreciate the quick reply! Definitely giving me more stuff to search up.
Do you know if there was a specific name for the rods with the collets on them? Or were they just called casting rods?
Do you know of any vendor that sales newer collet/chuck handles?

Hello!
I have been searching far and wide for a name of this style of rod. There are 3 that share the same pistol grip handle, the 4th is a few MM larger and doesn't fit.
