Hi Bill, Super Assist Line Marine/Ocean PC (Polymer Core) were developed exactly for jigging with 2 things mainly in mind - 1. No slack formation to avoid snagging when jig touches or dredges on ocean bottom. 2. Stiff but bending recovery to prevent hook snagging, line tangling around jig.
