i might be, so 1 thread down and back will give one on top on on bottom(2axis), turn the rod 90 add another thread(4axes), and i get all four sides with the pattern, is this the way to figure it out.

ok i ordered it i dont have that one, i only do freshwater rods for friends so they like the fancy wraps

yes i bought that app, i look at the patterns i have printed and the drawing of the finished design, and i just get lost trying to guess if the number of axes it has. wish i could explain it better, the instruction have a drawing with 1 of the patterns as it adds each thread, along with the size it should be in mm

so bought the book by billy hoping it would help figure out how many axis or axes any given wrap pattern has by looking at the pattern, they dont tell you. any way to tell by looking at the pattern?

i surely will, i contacted the cubs org, and they did not have anything that would work, but told me to try mlb shop, but have not found anything that will work. but i have time so i will keep you all posted

I was asked to add chicago cubs logos to the butt wrap, but have not been able to locate any that look to be the correct size. Does anyone have an idea where to find some.

Thank you all for the help, i used the permagloss..that stuff really has a smell... but it finally cleared out of the shop. then i have added the flocked shrink tube for the messed up grips, it is really starting to look great again. I was able to save the original decals, with a few scratches for character. I think he will be very happy. did not like the look of the guides i had on hand they wer

thank you all for the help and wisdom, i will try to get it back for him to enjoy some more. going to try to cover the handles with the shrink tubing stuff, as they are a bit rough and gouged. You are correct i should have said classic not old or maybe well used.
