You could look around for the RainShadow "IMU" series.. It has been a great series for us. Unfortunately it was discountiued, but you should be able to look at our distributor list for stock. Probably wonderfully priced as well since being discontinued.

Typically with salmon rods for trolling, your going to want a parabolic action. These are the perfect rod to troll for salmon. It is what we use up here in Washington when trolling for salmon!!

You could also take a look at the ALPS line of guides. They currently are on boats that are fishing for those exact species. Infact if you watch wicked tuna, ALPS guides are on those rods.
You can either do roller guides or the HXN guides.
