I searched and looked in the library on this subject and didn't find anything. What is your preference and why? Do you use the Pro Paste or the Flex Coat epoxy? I currently have the Flex Coat epoxy because thats what came with my startup kit, and it's not the 5 min. type. Man this stuff sets quick, within 15 min at least. I'm planning on doing my first spiral wrap. My question is this, there are several charts that are on the market that suggest guide spacing for a particular length rod. Should I follow the same spacing when doing a spiral?

WOW!!!!! I surely didn't think this issue would be this intense. Tom, I do remember you covering the axis of a rod may not necessarily be 180* opposite each other in your book. Someone made a suggestion earlier about using lesser quality rod blanks and trying it both ways for the best results. That seems like a good place to start for the novice (IMO). I've been looking at the new generation of Fuji reel seats and my question is this. Is there a certain technique to applying the adhesive to the rod, since these are arbor-less designs? Or do I use the same method as though I'm using arbors? Any insight on this matter is greatly appreciated.
