Yesterday was the Michigan Rod Builders 3rd Annual Round Up and it was the biggest get together ever!
We had 49 builders show up from 3 different states and even from Canada.
I feel super blessed to have had the opportunity to get this organization up and running and seeing it be so successful.

Lynn, I recommend using the provided spacing chart then adjust accordingly using static placement. I think you will find that minimum movement will be necessary.

If the reel is properly aligned with the fist guide, I don't see any issues. I am not a surf rod guy but it makes sense.

I just put Microwaves on a fly rod blank......of course it is now a spinning rod. The microwave guides will be no help on a fly rod. They are used to control the line when casting and on a fly rod you are not really casting the line.

Install the last 3 guides according to the chart and static test the rest of the runners...... easy peasy.

I tape them down with a thin piece of tape by the leg then tape a half of a popsicle stick behind the guide so it doesn't walk. I have zero issues with this method.
